These terms apply when you order backlinks from BacklinkBuddy at backlinkbuddy.ai. By placing an order you agree to them. They are written in plain language on purpose; where a sentence has a legal effect, that effect is intended.
Who you are dealing with
BacklinkBuddy is operated by Will Nash Services, 32 North Gould Street, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, United States ("we", "us"). Contact: support@backlinkbuddy.ai.
What we sell
A managed backlink placement. For each link you order we find a publisher in a domain rating tier you choose, pitch them, write an article, pay the publisher's fee, place a link to your page in the body of that article, and send you a report. Prices are per link, shown on the site before you pay, and include everything just listed. There is no setup fee and no subscription.
Domain rating is Ahrefs' metric. Each tier also has a minimum level of organic traffic that we check in Ahrefs on the day we pitch a site. Traffic figures on the site describe typical linking sites in that tier, not visitors you will receive.
Ordering and payment
You pay by card through Stripe at the time of ordering. Payment in full is taken before any work starts. We confirm every order by email within one working day. If we cannot accept an order, for example because the target page is in a category we do not serve, we tell you and refund it in full.
Your approval of sites
Before anything is written, we send you each proposed publisher for approval unless you chose automatic approval at checkout. You may decline any site and we propose another at no extra cost. If, after reasonable attempts, we cannot find a site you will accept in the tier you paid for, we refund that link.
Timelines
We aim to send your first publisher shortlist within two weeks of your order and to have links live within three to four weeks. These are targets, not guarantees. Publishers set their own schedules. If a placement is going to run past four weeks we tell you before the end of the third week.
What a placement includes
- A site with organic traffic we have checked, that publishes for readers and would exist without us. We do not use private blog networks, sites built to sell links, or bulk packages.
- An article written for that publisher of around 600 words, which you may read before it goes live.
- A link in the body of the article on an anchor you choose within reason, or a natural anchor if you leave it to us.
- A report with the live URL, the placement date, the site's domain rating and traffic at placement, and the link attributes.
Link attributes and search engines
Publishers decide the attributes of links on their own sites. Some mark paid placements with rel="sponsored" or rel="nofollow", as Google's guidelines ask. We disclose the attribute of every link on your report. We do not promise that any link will be followed, will pass ranking signals, or will improve your rankings. Search engines change their rules and we have no control over them. You are responsible for deciding whether a placement fits your own site's approach.
Replacement guarantee
If a link we placed is removed, or the page it sits on is taken down, within twelve months of going live, we replace it with a link of the same tier at no charge. Email us the URL. The guarantee does not cover changes you ask for after placement, changes to your own page that make the link inappropriate, or sites that go offline because of events outside the publisher's control such as a domain expiring, where we will still make a reasonable attempt to replace.
Refunds
- Any link we cannot place after you have approved a site is refunded.
- Any link where we cannot find a site you will approve is refunded.
- Orders cancelled before a link goes live are refunded for every link not yet live.
- Once a link is live, it is not refundable. The publisher's fee and the writing have been spent on your behalf, and the link is covered by the twelve month replacement guarantee instead.
Refunds go back to the card used to pay, usually within five to ten working days.
What we will not do
We will not place links to pages that are unlawful, that promote hate, violence or discrimination, or that we judge would harm the publisher's readers. We do not currently serve gambling, adult, pharmaceuticals, weapons, or short term lending. We may decline any order at our discretion and refund it.
Your responsibilities
You confirm that you have the right to promote the page you give us, that it does not break any law, and that the anchor text and competitor pages you provide are accurate. You will not use our service to attack another site.
Our liability
We provide the placements with reasonable care and skill. Beyond that, we make no promises about results. Our total liability to you for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for lost profits, lost rankings, lost traffic, or any indirect loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Agencies and white label
Agencies may order on behalf of clients. Reports carry no BacklinkBuddy branding. You remain responsible to us for the order and to your client for what you tell them.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version in force when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
