This policy explains what BacklinkBuddy collects when you use backlinkbuddy.ai, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Who we are
BacklinkBuddy is a managed backlink placement service operated by Will Nash Services, 32 North Gould Street, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, United States. You can reach us at support@backlinkbuddy.ai.
What we collect and why
When you place an order. The page you want to rank, any competitor pages you give us, your anchor text preference, the tiers and number of links, your content and approval choices, your name and your email address. We need these to find publishers, write the article, place the link and send you the report. Payment details go to Stripe, not to us. We never see or store your card number.
When you email us or use the message panel. Your name, your email address and whatever you write. We use it to reply.
When you visit the site. Our hosting provider, Vercel, records standard server logs such as your IP address, the pages requested, your browser type and the time of the request, for security and to keep the site running. These logs are kept for a limited period and are not used to build a profile of you.
We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, advertising networks or analytics that identify you. If we add analytics in future it will be cookieless and aggregated, and we will update this page.
Who we share it with
We share your information only with the services needed to deliver what you ordered:
- Stripe, to take payment. Stripe's handling of your card details is covered by Stripe's privacy policy.
- Publishers, who receive the article containing your link and the page it points to. They do not receive your name or email.
- Vercel, which hosts the site and processes server logs.
- Our email provider, which delivers order confirmations and replies.
We do not sell your information and we do not share it with anyone for marketing.
How long we keep it
Order details are kept for as long as the twelve month replacement guarantee on your links runs, plus the period we are required to keep business records, and then deleted. Emails are kept for as long as the conversation is useful to either side. Server logs are kept by Vercel for a short rolling period.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it where we no longer need it to fulfil an order or meet a legal obligation. Email support@backlinkbuddy.ai and we respond within thirty days. If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Where your data is processed
Our hosting and email providers operate in the United States and the European Union. Where your data moves between regions, our providers rely on standard contractual safeguards.
Children
The service is for businesses and is not directed at anyone under eighteen. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy we update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use information you have already given us, we email you first.
